It's always interesting to see a current Mustang next to a vintage and notice how big and chunky modern Mustangs have become.

Ugh. Why the hell did they paint the rear valance and not the sideskirts?!

My question is why did they paint the rear valance? Should've left it black.

67 GT500 ran a 13.6 1/4 back in 67. Only about 1 sec. slower than the new GT500.

Or 15.0. Unbelievably beautiful the old cars were, but really no point in comparing performance, especially if a curve is involved.

Looks like they only painted the upper portion of the rear valance......so the bottom edge matches the side skirts and chin spoiler

Okay yeah that's what I meant. And either way, top portion or full, it doesn't look good painted body color. Period. If I get a 2011 I'm getting it custom painted Ford's pearl white and all the lower cladding painted glossy black. I think it might look a little nicer. We'll see...

I entered to win. Active Duty military gets one free entry. Also, if you purchase tickets and "donate" them to an active duty military member, if the member is selected, you both win one of the cars, ticket purchaser gets first dibs.
I'm just digging seeing Guardsman Blue stripes on a Mustang again, it's been far too long, I love that color!!
