NHTSA officially drops investigation of the Mustang's MT-82 transmisison

The NHTSA has officially dropped the investigation of the MT-82 transmission, citing that "there is no indication of loss of motive power or unreasonable safety risk associated with the alleged defect in the subject vehicles."

Because there isn't any safety issue. Ford is taking care of people who go about it the right way.

The NHTSA should have never been involved anyways.

The only question now is when...?

When will the youtube clip get posted of 'you know who' as Hitler ranting about the closed investigation? Probably never, it's just not worth the effort, but it would be funny.

If they get the requisite number of complaints, NHTSA has to launch an investigation into the matter irregardless of the circumstances.
