NFS Mustang Decklid panel

Does anyone else besides me love this decklid panel? I'd like to lose the faux gas cap, but I think the plain black RTR/CDC panel is just missing something. I really hope one of the aftermarket companies picks this up.

+ 1. The pony on the back looks tyte. I'm loving the GT500 exhaust and valance.

One funny observation, my Recaros are in a similar position to one another as this car. The driver seat is sitting higher than the passenger. It would look better if they were symmetric, but I find that I have to have it more upright for a proper driving position.

That is very tastefully done, unlike the rest of the car.

I'm not sure if I like it. It's odd having the running pony on the front and rear of the car. Kind of overkill IMO. I dunno, maybe I'll grow to like it though...

Yeah I hear ya, I think even the "GT" emblem would look good:

As long as there's no fake gas cap surrounding it.

Good point. I forget theres a pony on the front since i added the roush grille. Ive missed my pony though, one on the rear would fit my car perfectly

What if Ford finally stuck the blue oval back on the mustang and stuck it on the decklid but put running ponyʻs on the fenders of all models in place of "gt" "5.0" and such. Instead putting model designation on the trunk somewhere like the SN95 models?

I mean i know it would make them all blend together more but its a more uniform look IMO
And of course we all know "proper" is a Brits favorite trait

On a side note, I think I'm gonna end up with that RTR rear panel very soon ... I love the clean look with no faux gas cap on there anymore ...

I like it a lot. Think it looks much classier than the fake gas cap

The blank RTR just looks like it's missing something. ........but that's my opinion.

Yeah that does look really good, I might have to do this. I probably would already have the RTR panel if I could bring myself to take a hole saw to my car...
