Next Mod?

Alright guys, I have had my car for almost 2 months now and so far I have added FRPP axlebacks, Airaid CAI, Bama 93 hybrid tune and a 35% Llumar window tint. The two upgrades I want
the most(AMR wheel/tires and 3.73 gears) will be held off until spring time due to the fact the tires I'm getting are summer tires and the inability to really test the shorter gears in sleet and snow.

My question to you guys is: What should I do next as far as cheaper mods(<$100) and moderate mods (~$300) go? Also an aluminum driveshaft will be added in the future.

It sounds like you definitely have a sick list of mods so far, great job with your build! How are you enjoying your Bama tune?

AMR's, Gears and an Aluminum Driveshaft are definitely an awesome group of future mods. I would recommend some suspension as well, that can fill your Moderate mod area. Maybe a set of Springs and Lower Control Arms? Springs will lower your Mustangs center of gravity, to reduce squat during acceleration, body roll in the corners, and excessive nose-dive under hard braking!

This is just a few suggestions. I hope this helps, let me know if you have any questions or need some assistance! Keep up the great work. Our Mustang Experts are here Monday-Friday from 9AM-9PM EST and Saturdays from 9AM-5:30PM EST. If you want to hit them up, their number is 866.727.1266.

Side Splitters to protect those rocker panels and GT500 Splash guards for the rear.

Hey, that hybrid tune is every bit as awesome as everyone said! Makes it a whole different car. As far as springs, what is a good set that won't drop it so low that I have to add other suspension parts/accessories such as camber plates? I always hear Eibach is the way to go. Any recommendations? LCA's are currently in my shopping cart and I'm just waiting to pull the trigger.

Shorty antenna? Change turn signals to black or clear. Umm I would say sequentials but you new guys already have them (envious) haha. Those are about the only $100 mods I've done. That and the gt500 spoiler and wiring up an auxiliary unit for my iPod. Other than that lower it!!!

Edit: hood struts, stone guards, and some sort of stripes are all good too. Any of these $100 mods are very pleasing visually and satisfactory (?) once they're done. And they don't take long to do either!! My favorite kind

I just ordered some hood struts and I am waiting for those to arrive It's getting cold here, not much I can do for the next couple months, though it was 60 today. Waiting for the snow!

I'll be driving it, just too cold or nasty out to spend hours doing work on it. Once spring comes I'm going to cream my jeans.

Pretty good start so far you've got going. If you can lower it I'd say do that!

Hood struts and sound tube delete are a good start. Consider upgrading the shifter, either just a bracket, or the whole unit. There are many good choices for shifters out there, I love my MGW. Love the shift ball too instead of the OEM 'big thumb' shifter you get on the V6 and 400A GT.

For non performance mods, swap out the crappy OEM 6x8 door speakers for *much* improved audio. Good luck with your mod list.

I would suggest completing a tinted look...taillights and signals and whatnot....and definitely drop it

If you have a base v6, my first mod would be painted mirror covers in a heartbeat.

If it's a GT, side splitters as someone mentioned. They really do their job protecting the paint. They are Worth it all the way!'

Awesome! I'm glad to hear you're enjoying your Bama tune. Thank you for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

As far as springs go, there's a ton of options out there. If you want to avoid any additional suspension parts then stay at 1.5in or above! Anything above that can be corrected with just an alignment and you won't need caster camber plates etc.. Ford Racing springs are a good option for someone just looking for a small 1in' drop all the way around! If you're looking for more then that then SR Performance, Eibach and H&R are great options as well.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or need some assistance.
