New York Safety Track video
Sorry, deleted
Hoping they have some more car days for 2014. Maybe get some more Mustang's out there! If anyone is interested, let me know, always an option to arrange a track day if I get enough interest. Would be happy to offer some instruction for those new to track days. This track would be a fun one to instruct at

Dear lord, that track looks like fun. Lots of turns and elevation changes too. Did you notice the rear end dancing around a bit in some of those corners? I'd think the sudden elevation change could upset the SRA in our cars
Good driving, man. My only minor critique is there was a corner or two where you didn't use all of the road at the exit. But you nailed the apexes wonderfully. Pretty impressive.
By the way, do you set your stability control to Sport Mode, or VDC and TCS OFF?
This year I stayed in Sport Mode, but I think next season I'll turn everything but ABS off.

I don't remember what kind of car that was actually. The guy driving it just got it tho and it was having slipping clutch problems so he was driving very conservatively. It had potential to rip up that track tho. I need to find my video keeping pace with the C6 Z06...

cool video- what camera/telemetry do you use? Ive seen some neat android apps with OBDII data collection, but cameras arent good- gopro vid is great, but how to add the telemetry?
anyways, sure looks like fun

I think the name was selected because the track was sort of advertised as a driving school not so much a race track... I could be thinking of a differen place but I'm pretty sure it was this one. Anyways, I'm glad it was built and that it's fairly close to me! Fun place

Surprisingly the video was all done with my iPhone camera. I also have a gopro but do not have it connected with telemetry. The OBDII interface I use is called gopoint BT1 and it's a 5hz Bluetooth connection with the iPhone. The iPhone app is Harry's lap timer pro. I am still highly impressed with the amount of data available and the quality of the video and data overlay

Limerock would be a closer option. Also NJMP probably isn't terrible for you... Both good venues and better suited to the Mustang. NYST is real tight for a big car like the Mustang, but it sure is fun!! Message me if you're interested in some track time... I have been involved for a number of years.
