Okay, you asked for it...

First thing is I like the model selector where you choose your car and then supposedly would see all the parts that fit it, but...

When I entered a "2011 Mustang V6 Manual" and then select Cold Air Kits, it shows a page full of parts but all of them have notations that says "Will not fit: 2011 V6 Manual".

Why, when I have selected a particular model from the model selector, why would it show any parts that don't fit that exact model???

I don't care about parts that DON'T fit, all I care about are parts that do fit.

If Steeda doesn't have any parts available yet that fit the car then there should just be a note that comes up saying "No parts available at this time" or something like that instead of showing a bunch of parts that don't fit that car selected.

This coming from the guy that believes "anything can be made to fit"

Reference my past thread "2010 Gauge Pod search"

I can't find the Q-series front fascia. Pretty sure it was on the old website.

Well cry me a river because you can't make a slight modification to something like a simple gauge pod, it was only a suggestion to try to help you find something you could use.
And I never said that "anything" could be made to fit.

We are not talking about something like that here.

This is a manufacturers website with a model selector to look up parts to fit the specific car that has been selected and then it shows a bunch of parts that have nothing to do with the selected car and has a notation that they won't fit the selected car. If the parts don't fit the car selected then they shouldn't show them.

Cry me a river? You "suggested" that I mickey mouse an 05 -09 center gauge pod on to my '10 and Imade it clear to you that the 05-09 dashboard is clearly different from the '10. No crying here, I was simply implying that your rant about parts that "dont fit" shouldnt stop someone of your stature that clearly has unprecedented in depth knowledge of the in's and outs of every mustang known to man from figuring out how to make a part that "dont fit" work, thats all

The sc is freaking awesome! Yeah I couldn't make it either, they are having the "cnmracers" dyno day this Sunday. No surprise Gonzalo, Ricardo and the rest of the crew can install anything and make these stangs look and perform like monsters!

I'm the webmaster over at Steeda.

I did this because I'm sure there will be people that select the wrong vehicle, etc. I didn't want parts to just 'vanish' off the site.

That was something I considered, but decided against in the end. Instead I move the stuff that fits to the top and fade what does not fit. I can see more bad things happening by hiding them, then good.

If you look at Crutchfield for instance, they show you everything like the Steeda site does and just tells you what does, and does not fit.

Someone gets our newsletter. That was the only way to see it on the old site.

I forgot to move it over. Just put it up for you:
