I'm really considering this unit.
I have all my music on my phone and ONLY listen to music using Sync with Bluetooth.
Does the Raxiom kit offer the same thing?
Can I play my audio through my phone via Bluetooth, etc?

That was a big concern for me.

Debating the Android tablet vs this unit... like the extra customizing with the tablet but this is so plug and play and appears to work well...

I want this, pretty bad for a while now. But with the '15 now, I don't want to buy that and then sell the car in a year.

I wish the panel around the nav wasn't so flat and plain. I'm not sure what I'd would want, but not that.

You should get it and then when you trade your vert in for a 15 you can sell it to me for a discounted price.

I can't wait for the '15s to be release so everyone will start off loading their pre-15 parts for cheap.

It's a great unit for the price. Two notes that buyers need to know as the AM website does not tell you this. (1) Lifetime updates of the maps are not included and (2) there is no live traffic fed to the unit. Other than that, I love it but wish they would have connected live traffic like Garmin does.

My 2011 has sync with the entertainment package. I really like it, but am not adverse to upgrading as I expect to wait 18 months or so for my 2015/2016. What are the advantages to this unit over what I have from the factory. Is it quantifiably better in any way?

The reason for this is that the top rows of buttons on your original radio are not deleted; this just covers them. That is why it sticks out so far.

One of my co-workers just installed this in his car with the backup camera and he LOVES it! I was considering doing this instead of the factory nav install on our car. Cost is half and the install is WAY easier!
