Hey guys! Just joined the site hoping to find some info on ordering a 2012 5.0!! I currently own a 99 which was my first car. Bought her used with 15K on it and now 8 years later it has around 120K. Don't drive it so much anymore because I bought more of a daily driver 05 Comp G GTP Grand Prix fall of 09. I plan to replace the grand prix with the 5.0 as my daily driver.

Thanks! I have changed my mind about 100 times but right now I am leaning towards:

2012 GT Premium
Black ext, Brick red int
Comfort, Electronics, Security w/HIDs
Brembos & 3.73 or 3.55 (can't decide, I have 3:55 in the 99)

I have thought about the darker red as well but I don't plan on selling the 99 and I don't really want two red cars. I think the black looks great with the Brembo wheels, CS front, and roush grille! Also, not sure if I want the red or not on the interior. I love the red on the doors but the steering wheel and seat are maybe a bit too much for me???

 

Nice choices. Are you planning on doing an exhaust? If I had known that I would've gone with 3.73s instead of the stock 3.31s because my exhaust drones between 1800-2000.Which is right where the RPMs are at highway speeds around here. So just one think to consider if 1. you plan on changing the exhaust with one that is know to drone and 2. if drone is a problem for you. (some people aren't bothered by it, not sure how though. )

 

Hmm good info. I was planning on doing an exhaust, I really like the borla s type but don't think I would pay the $ for the full system so I may just do the Roush because it seems to be a good price and deep sound.
