I'm assuming you mean Gears of War 3?

That's going to be released in April 2011.

BTW, Gran Turismo 5 is supposed to come out on November 2nd. Supposed to.

In a somewhat related topic. What would be a good PS3 compatible wheel-controller to go with this game?

My only problem with race wheels for games is that they are too small!

I've heard nothing but good things about the logitech G27. Its got a clutch pedal, motor feedback, etc. But the thing that stops me from buying it everytime is the wheel diameter. I mean 11"?? Why so small? And its not just logitech, its pretty much every gaming race wheel I've seen. It feels like a toy when I hold a steering wheel that small.

Have you tried that joke of a wheel that Microsoft has out for the 360? The sad thing is that it's the only wheel available for the 360.

I think you may need a 3D television for it to work properly. I'll definitely be getting GT5 when it comes out too.

That works for me. Most formula car wheels are that diameter or somewhat smaller. Check out the sizes in the left panel here.

I bet you will. More $$$ down the drain I'll wait for 3D TV tech to mature (and the price to go down) before I buy one

Yeah it works for F1, and while I enjoy driving those cars in GT, I really like driving all the 'normal' cars in the game. And when you drive them with the small wheel it feels fake to me....

The problem with having a large wheel, IMO, is that it's extremely difficult to straighten out or counter steer. I actually have a much easier time using the thumb stick on the controller.

exactly! thats part of the fun to me. And I'm not talking like big rig steering wheel huge. I just mean like your average sports car size 14-16" or so.

I can see the argument for small wheels, I just don't understand why there aren't more sizes available. I've only seen 10-12"

Looks like fun, but I don't think I could get away with one of those chairs, way too 40 year-old-virgin.

Maybe so, but if I only had the space for one of these...

Game looks great. They need to make the cars more tunable like in real like.

That dam Lambo smoked em!

Only problem with the trailer I have is why didn't the cop cars get flats from the spike strip that the helicopter deployed?

The strip was picked up by the car that spun off just before the cop cars went by.

Just saw the HD Trailer on GameTrailers.com and that was the first thing I noticed about the game! I am glad EA games is returning the franchise to its origin instead of trying to make it into some Quasi Simulation Racing game(Forza and GT fill that need). Definitely will be picking it up!
