Very nice!

I searched for one of these for a long time, until i settled for a block of wood.
question, once under load, does it only contact under the pinch weld?

These look great - might have to go ahead and get that set of four for $40.

Looks great! However, I need to see a photo of them in place, as I'm skeptical that they'll fit between the pinch weld and the clip-on rocker panels.

I am concerned about stability, there doesn't appear to be much contact area and it doesn't look like it would take much of a side load to cause problems.

Thanks for making these, but I'd be concerned about rolling them off accidentally while lifting or getting in and out of the car if I have to. Is there any way to make them with a larger base to fit a round jack saddle, or with a post to fit right into the jack itself?

No, we do not make a base for it. You do not need the base, the slot holds it in place. at first I did make one with a base, but to many different jacks out there. You will also want to use with a lift and the base is not needed.
We sell many of them for the ZL1 because there is no jack that comes with the car and the lower rocker panel is lower than the pinch weld.
It picks the car up by contacting the bottom of the pinch weld AND the inside leg picks up on the body frame. There is not much chance you will roll it off the pad. The rocker panel has a spot just for the jack pad.

The magnet is great item because it will hold the pad in place while you position the jack or lift. There will be a video soon of the Mustang in use, I have sent some out for testing by the members.

Only difference on the late model Mustang is the pinch weld is thinner and we make a version for the Roush side covers as to not hit the push pins. The pads are made with a very tough nylon.
The pad only spaces the bottom pinch weld down 5/8s inch. We are going to make a Jack pad with a 1 inch space for floor jacks that are Con Caved.

Here is the pic of how it works on the ZL1.

WE STAND BEHIND THE PRODUCT! Anyone that is skeptical, just email me and I will send you them and you just pay AFTER you get it, or if you are not 100% happy just do not pay. You can not beat that. AND NO you do not pay shipping!
If they're measured to sit flush with the rocker AND the pinch weld, my concerns are satisfied.

I have a low-profile jack and at the front, the car sits about 1/4-inch above the jack. Your pads are too tall for my application.

I would like someone to email me with a Roush kit and I will send them the jack pad to try on your car at no charge. email john@gsimaviation.com
I have the side splitters from the roush kit. Don't know if the sides are any different. If they aren't any different. I'll try them
