Just curious how you're going to accomplish that?

The difference between my V6 and a track pack with the same options is about 10K. So...procharger 6K, full exhaust 1.2K, and full suspension by let say Steeda 2K (Shocks, Struts, Springs, HD mount, LCA, Reloc brk, UCA & Mount, panhard. Install will be done by me and others so no cost there. This will cost me about 10K but most of the savings will be in taxes when buying the car, gas mileage and insurance over the years. I'm not bashing the 5.0 by any means. Its an awesome Stang. I'm just tired of 5.0 guys bashing the V6. Its come a long way and really I'm just a guy who loves Mustangs.

Supercharged V6 gonna get worse gas mileage, and most are still slower than a stock 5.0. Most are running high 12's. You should be able to out handle maybe...tires will be limiting factor since you will still be on stock tires. And sales tax savings when buying the car between a 30k and 40k car is what 200-300 bucks? Insurance will be cheaper unless they find out you modified your car. And you will have dropped 10k into a V6 mustang that will still have the value of a V6 Mustang and still be worth 10k less than the 5.0
Nothing wrong with the V6 Mustang its a great car for an entry level vehicle. But kind of pointless to justify purchasing it to save money to spend more money to modify it to match the performance of the GT. And there are plenty of places across the country to get a Shelby for invoice or less. Saying you were shopping for a Shelby but got a V6 to save money makes no sense

First off I don't think it would be slower but I'm not going to keep going back and forth on this, its not even what this thread is about. My insurance will cover my mods. I never said I stopped looking for a Shelby. I know there are ones out there you can get for less than invoice. I was shopping in my area.

I stand here to attest....I bought a 2014 Deep Impact Blue V6 Mustang.......PRICE......was cheaper than a Focus....easier to get in and out of (being that I am 6'-9" tall) .....Now I did buy mine on X-plan.....and in the future. I will buy another heck even a ragtop maybe.....Mileage is what I bought it for.

But I am looking for adding to it's 305 horses....Looking at Stinger Borlas, although if I could put glasspacks or steelpacks on I would, CAI system to improve the aspiration, tuned headers for sure to improve.....if it will improve, I am looking for it or will look for it and read about it.

Got a vid? I'd love to hear what a full setup of that on a 3.7 sounds like...

Just having some fun. They are close. We were out at MIR for a track rental day on Oct 18. There were at least 3-4 of the 11+ there running headers, full exhaust, blowers and drag radials and skinnies. They were all around 12.6-12.8 there are a few that have gone faster. But the air was good. The V6's are a great car. But to get similar times to a GT it's gonna cost close to the same. And the V6 with long tubes sounds pretty wicked in person.

Not Cali legal. OP posted about 50 state legal shorties, and that's what I was commenting on about no love. Yes you can just take the bbks off when you smog but that's not the point.

if every v6 owner that said this cute story that you just did, actually did it, we wouldn't have these conversations, ever. The fact is that probably less than 5% of the v6 owners that say that story actually do it.

I still don't need the extra two cylinders. I did need to fix the minivan sounding engine, but quiet is over rated.

I beg to differ Danielle. My v6 doesn't sound like a chainsaw, it sounds more like a weedwacker.
