It's called "My Key" a new Ford idea. You can program it to restrict the speed that the car goes. In case you wanted to limit it for a teen age driver in your family.

Among other things like radio volume. It's quite the innovation and another commendable Ford idea.

I wish MyKey also had a valet mode, with something like HP restricted to 80, and top speed limited to 20 mph.

The last thing i'd do is let my kid drive my mustang. Thats what the Pontiac G6 is for or the old Honda Passport.

I'd trade mine for the new one in a minute so I could tell the **** thing from the Taurus key. Big pet peeve of mine that they don't make the keys in two colors.

I'm sure you can get one of those colored sleeves/covers for it. I think I saw them advertised in AutoWeek but I'm sure eBay probably has them too.

Shouldn't have to. It would cost Ford probably NOTHING to contract for half blue and black keys.

The book there sounds like the gimmick going around right now about filling tires with nitrogen instead of just air. I've seen a few dealers offer it as a dealer installed option.

I like that 2011 key .. the 2010 key buttons are too small! Just give me a Key Fob back!

I dislike both keys IMO. My Honda key looks better. Wouldn't mind having the keyless like my BMW has, just put the key in my pocket and press the start button. OK, so I like that the Mustang has the turn key ignition. Just doesn't look special in any way, shape, or form.

I like the flip key better. When I get a chance I am going to get a fob and program that with my other three keys. Then I will only carry the fob with me and leave the key hidden in the car like I did with the '05 F150.

The new Taurus has the keyless fob and the push button start. It is really slick. You just walk up to your car with your fob in your pocket and push a button on the door frame and the door unlocks. You get in, press the brake pedal and press start. It's too bad none of this high tech stuff is introduced on the Mustang.
