I kind of figured it was gravity having quite an effect on the slushy engine mounts.

Good thing I didn't see those at the Santa Monica reveal. I would have told Doug my thoughts. As I did with everything else I saw!

The reason you didn't see this @ Santa Monica is because these are all Ford Accessories, not designed by the Ford design studio team. It's all aftermarket stuff- some is good, some is cheesy, but as we know some people like cheesy.

However, at the LA show, you could build your own custom Mustang w/ wheels and tires, stripes, different scoops and spoilers, it was very cool, then they would pick one each hour and the guys from Galpin Auto Sport ( think Pimp My Ride ) actually would disassemble the car right on the show floor and put your choice of wheels, scoops, stripes, etc on the car. This one pictured just happened to be a little off.

I do have to say though, the hood scoop in body color or the faux carbon fiber looks good.

That Kona Blue is hot, And I love the dark tan interior with the upgrade package. Even the light interior looks good. I think Ford nailed this interior! Now it needs to be retro-fitted so I can put it in my 98 Cobra!

Did the same guy who designed the rear of this car design the accessories? That is just wrong. Its hard to belive that they put this stuff on and said this looks great. Eights may be wrong. I think JC Whitney could do a better job with the accessories than Ford.

Disagree 100%. I think the design of these accessories nicely complement the 2010 design. For example, the hood scoop really accentuates the new power dome hood, vs. the silly one of today's Mustang which just sits like a satellite antennae zit/blob on the hood with no relationship to the shape of the car at all.

However, I think the combination in which they have been shown, both in the LA Show pix ( where random people mixed and matched stuff ) and the Kona blue car above ( with everything on it ) may not be the right recipe. That's why they look weird. I mean your girlfriend would look pretty weird if she had all her jewelry/accessories she owned on at once, or if stuff was mismatched. But that doesn't mean the stiletto boots are a bad design....well that's a bad analogy- I think those go w/ everything!

When is the last time you seen the eye Dr. dude?
People make fun of ricers and their tacky add ons , go figure. It looks like we are entering the rebirth of the early 70's stangs again.

I really don't care for any of the Add On Scoops, Spoilers, or Louvers. To me, none of those accessories does anything to compliment anything about the design of the 2010. I'll take mine Factory Stock with the Spoiler Delete Option. What kills me about the Blue car with Everything Tacked on it, is that it looks like those are the Base Wheels.

Oh and this Grill is Black, Black Chrome as opposed to the Chrome or Siver one posted further up. This car doesn't look too bad, until you look closely at the Fake Carbon Fiber decal stuck on the Hood, right in front of the Real Carbon Fiber Hood Scoop.
