Hello all, signed up a little bit ago and wanted to say hey from Southern NJ.

About 2 1/2 months ago I traded in my 07 Grabber Orange GT for a 2014 GHIG GT premium. The 07 was really fun to drive but the 14 is far and away the better car.

The 5.0 revs are smooth and quick and the shifting is much better than the 07. I know the MT82 is a little maligned on the boards but I can honestly say I have had 0 problems. Got the track pack, comfort pack and rear camera (Which I found out is nearly useless in full sun as it's in the mirror)

Current minor mods are GT500 mufflers, MMD quarter louvers, Boss 302 Grille (Kept the stock fogs), Street Scene Gen II chin. Windows are tinted 35% all around. Added some hood spears too.

Future mods will be centered on suspension and new wheels and tires. It's a daily driver so I need some all seasons up here.

Looks awesome! I just saw a GHIG driving around in my new mustang a week or two ago... Pictures never do it justice... Enjoy the car!

 

Congrats on the new purchase. That is a stunning color and will be a favorite for a very long time. That chin spoiler is growing on me.

 

Welcome to The Source. I understand how you feel. I gave up my '05 for an '11 and although the '11 is a superior car in every way, I still miss my '05. My girlfriend and I really like the GHIG, but I HHIR
(Hadta Have It Red).

It is true that it's difficult to take good pics of this color, it never seems to come out quite right.

As for the chin spoiler, I think it's right on for this car. It follows the lines perfectly. With painting it was a bit much but well worth it for me.

I'm not sure I've seen a car that kept the stock fogs with the Boss grille, and I like it! That's one of the reasons I haven't wanted to upgrade my grille; I like the fogs.

Congrats on the new ride. Saw my first GHIG GT the other day and I have to admit....its a great looking color in the sun.

 

The grille needs some slight mods to fit right. Remove 2 tabs at the bottom of the fog ligh opening and some adjustments in the upper outer corners of each opening where it makes contact with the lights.
I really wanted to keep the fogs as they are a part of the car's character.
