I have been running it for 2 months now and what an improvement with even the performance tune. The new lead tuner they have has 10+ years experience and has reworked the tunes. If anyone bad mouths Bama they need to try the new V2 tunes.

Were there problems with the old tunes?

A couple have posted problems with the new tunes.

Are the new V2 tunes only for the GT? In the video I saw, they only mentioned the tunes being updated for the GT but I hope they rework the v6 tunes as well.

I upgraded last week to the V2 93R. First, the cold bucking problem has been completely eliminated. I can also reverse cold without having to rev it like I used to to keep it from stalling. Overall drivability is much better, smoother and cleaner.
On the old 93 R it felt as if a boat anchor was dropped after you let off the throttle after a WOT jaunt, it is much more smooth now. I plan on testing the old versus the new tune at the track when it opens in the Spring.

Good question and if you were to request a new tune for your V6 you would be getting their best work to date - I highly recommend getting set up, you would love them! While they're not being advertised as V2 Tunes they've had them extensively overhauled within the past couple months!

Let me know if you have any other questions and I'm here to help!

I bought the "tunes for life" a few years back but went back to stock and didn't bother getting a new tune after the initial scares over the #8 failures.

Perhaps I'll give them another shot. I'd love to be able to provide feedback and spread the good word if the tune does indeed deliver.

Hey Alex, last time Bama updated they automatically sent me new files. It's obviously not hard for me to request them and I'm happy to do so but was just wondering if these were previously sent out and maybe I just missed them or they were never sent to the tunes for life customers??

Hey Dave,

Great question and Bama has not been automatically sending them out and they're only doing so by request! If you're curious the tune would show V2 on your device as well. Shoot them a call so you can get set up!

Let me know if there's anything I can help out with in the meantime!

To clarify, if I order a Steeda CAI / Bama X4 Tuner (this --> http://www.americanmuscle.com/steeda...gt-manual.html), I will get the V2 version when I send my info to Bama for the tune files?

Actually, just tried to order because you have me sold, but its OUT.OF.STOCK...

Hey Dave - The V2's have been in development for quite some time but they were just released to the public within the past couple weeks!

Let me know if you have any questions about them and I'm happy to help get you set up!

Hey Varilux - That's correct and if you're to order any Tuner and CAI Combo kit you would receive the new V2's - Shoot me a PM and let's get you into a kit today and burnin' rubber by the middle of next week! I can see that you're beyond eligible for our forums discount code as well.
