I got one of them as well. Like 2 days after I bought mine!! I just got too good of a deal on it.

Nope, didn't go to an auto show this year.

 

I recently received the $750 Private Cash coupon in the brochure I requested. It expires 12/25/2010. We have a 2011 V6 Premium MCA Package on order, so hopefully it arrives before the coupon expires. We are purchasing at X-Plan and should be getting the $1000 Bonus rebate too. Just in case I ordered a 2nd brochure in my wife's name, so maybe we'll get a 2nd $750 coupon, in case the first one expires.

 

Note these must be from ford.... NOT The Mustang Source.

 

Wish I had this, I got owned at ford when they told me it was locked in even after the expiration date since I ordered when it was valid. But a new rebate came along and the salesman swore up and down that all the rebates were applicable and the coupon still locked in. That all changed realllll fast on car delivery date. They said "Call Ford CS and try to get one that is valid on your delivery date, but good luck with that"

 

For about a year now Ford has a thing called Incentive Protection. They "protected" a $750 private cash for us that would've expired about a month before our ordered 2011 V6 MCA was scheduled to arrive. We bought the 2011 back in January using x-plan, plus got $2250 total off in rebates, including the $750 private cash.

 

Thats what I was "supposed" to get, Yet when I ordered there was 500 rebate and my 750 coupon = 1250. Then on delivery date there was the 500 rebate plus another added 1000 rebate and the 750 coupon that my dealer (up until that day) said would still be good even tho it had expired, because it was "locked in". On the delivery day they all said since I still made out on the deal that the "better" deal was valid, not all 3 since it had expired. The lock in is just to protect your incase rebates go down. SO, It was either the deal at time of order, $1250(500+750) or the current deal $1500 (new 1000+500) BUT NOT the 500 1000 and 750. Thats being too greedy lol

I understand policy is policy but when you are guided wrong and promised something from the beginning, it is a disappointment. The manager actually said, while some "big shot" at ford was on the phone, "sounds like Anthony here knows he's getting a good deal, but he just wants a Better deal". I almost got up and walked out right there. lol

All and all I got an ok deal, but just make sure you understand everything and aren't guided wrong by unknowledgeable people.

AFTER typing all this i just realized that someone brought this post back from its grave from a year ago. So im talking to nobody lol

 

Valid for delivery from dealer stock 10/17/11 to 12/16/11, but I'm not ready to buy yet... At least I know that the system works, this was I think my 10th or so try for requesting brochures. So for those of you who haven't had any luck yet, just keep trying.

FYI I had put in that I was ready to buy in the next 1-3 months, no idea if that has any impact on the odds of getting one.

 

got one in my e-mail yesterday, valid until 12/19/11, which falls right in line with my timeline of buying. Dealer's supposed to be trading for a kona blue GT with manual, I cant wait!

 

Requested for some... how long did it take for them to arrive? I don't remember.

I kept trying to get them when I first bought my '11 V6. I used different variations of my name and all I got were brochures without the coupon. Then I use my mom's name and somehow on the first try they came with the $750 coupon. Too bad it was less than a week after my car had arrived and I already drove it off the lot.

 

I wonder if they'll be sending out the $750 coupon in the 2013 brochures....

 

they better..... i could have bought a 2012 with a coupon, now i am waiting for a most likely more expensive car so i want my 750
