New 3RD Brake Light.

My lens started looking like crap for the last year and a half on my 3rd brake light. Ford factory original parts didn't show a replacement part. I figured I would have to live with it, until I finally found one. I was going to do a "how to change your 3rd brake light" Thread, until I did it. It is so easy that a monkey could do it .

Top picture is the old 3rd brake light. I could wax it and would look pretty good for a couple days. The middle picture is the new 3rd brake light. The bottom picture is the new lens installed.

The new brake light is plug and play with led lights. I guess made in China, I didn't look. The old factory one was made in Mexico with the lights made in China

That lens looks like 20 minutes with a headlight restoration kit would do wonders...

20 minutes every 4-5 weeks was getting old. My Mustang was over 5 years old when this started looking bad, I hope the new one last as long

While you two were buying gas. I dug the grave in the morning. Did the burial a couple hours later. I even sang a hymn and said the last words.

See what a nice brother you are.
Have you waxed the brake light yet, clear tint might stop that from happening again.

I'm afraid to touch it

If this one last as long as the factory one did, I'll be happy. I've done a lot of wiping and waxing
