This new stang is a looker. And I can now see how the insiders were saying you could see the tail lights from the side.

My biggest beef with new v6 model has to be the single exhaust! I mean they put in on Fusions, why not a sports car!? It looks like there is going to be another base/pony pkg v6 for 2010 or maybe this one is just missing the corral around the pony??

Look closely at the sticker .... I believe that is a V6 Mustang ... but it does show stainless steel DUAL EXHAUST on the sticker ...

I'm with you guys. I bet the stickers are there just for show; there's absolutely no substance to them. However, I'd be willing to bet we'll have to wait until MY 2011 for the new engines, with MY 2010 using carryovers from '09.

it is looking more and more like the factory cowl is for all and not just the gt, kind of sucks.

I always thought that the V6s should have dual outlets with a single pipe per side while the GT's would have dual outlets, dual pipes. And the V6 should have a more decent exhaust note rather than the rather insipid sedan sounds it now does.

Today's V6 and GT have same hood, Shelby is different- looks the same setup on 2010. I was always surprised they've been able to do three different front fascias for three different trim levels- how many cars do you know that do that???

it was more in reference to the hood pic in bare metal that had everyone jumping up and down excited about it for the gt. so the thought was the new cowl hood would have been gt specific all be it more expensive for ford to do that, it would have been nice. as long as they do not transfer the gt500 hood to the v6 like they did with the 99-01 cobra hood then i will not complain too much.

I totally agree, and I've said the exact same thing before. Even if it was just the V6 pony package that came with some smaller duals, that would be fine.

The one thing I think I see that I like however is that on the red car the "M U S T A N G" letters along the rocker look to be actual 3 dimensional silver letters rather than just a decal. Pretty cool.

It's evolutionary. I have to say that it's the interior refinements and added amenities that would get me into one of these. The exterior styling alone really isn't all that different.

The interior materials are improved, and with items like SYNC 2.0, backup camera, galssroof, etc. You should be excited about the 2010. I look forward to all of these options

Window sticker clearly shows the 4.6 3v. We all expected this but I was hoping for a miracle.

I said clearly but thats a mistake but Im pretty sure thats what it is. Also noticed combined mpg at 18. Thats not all that hot if you ask me.

I have one question though...the part of the fascia between the grille and the headlights...its black on these prototypes...but will it be body color on the production car?

Its too soon to say for certain, but it looks from the pics we've seen like it will be black on the Production GTs and Body color on the V6s. It could also just be an option.
