I disagree, that's a move in the wrong direction. I know there are a lot of people who love flat black but I'm not one of them. I wish Ford would offer a "body color trim" package that would have the lower rear bumper, rocker panel moldings, and grill surround (on the GT) painted body color. I'd pay $300 for such an option. Oh yeah, the air dam in the GT could also use a little more paint and a little less flat black. Other than that objection, though, I think the 2010 redesign is a resounding success.

 

I think that the black panel between the tail lights is optional.

Autoblog has posted the entire Ford layout for LA. A lot of Fiesta's and 1 or 2 2011 V6's. I think one you can sit in and 1 you can't. No 2011 GT's.

 

It certainly isn't the prettiest looking engine is it? Couldn't they have done something about all that black plastic on top??? Even a tri-bar logo or something to at least distract from it would have been nice.

Still not feeling that grill. The top and bottom need to match or don't bother. The flat black panel looks nice out back though.

I wonder if they will do anything to the GT visually to help keep it differentiated now that the base model is sporting duals and 19's?

 

I think this car eliminates the need for the GT. V6 and Cobra is all you really need now. Or 3 engines, the 3.7 base, 3.7TT, and boosted V8.

 

Works for me if they drop the price on the GT500 by $10K...
