Ordered 3/5

Delivered 6/8

Dealer had said six weeks, and I was upset when it was late.

If he had told me ten weeks, I would have been congratulating them for being early!

Put on the convoy (I believe) on May 24.

My father stopped by the dealership yesterday, to take a peek . . . sent me a phone pic:

Were you practicing 'presenteeism'?

No -- I actually had to talk about stuff and make sense.

I think I pulled it off . . .

Great news Mike!!! The V-6's sound so good. So much sound deaden, i can only hear a slight hum at 50 m.p.h. but has gotten louder with the little over 400 miles i have on my Mustang. My friends tell me it sounds sooooo good when i drive away from visiting them. I had to let my Son do some take off's and drive by's so i could hear the exhaust sound, while i stood in the middle of a large vacant parking lot LOL!!! It does have a very high quality exhaust sound.

At least you will be able to lower the top and hear the special exhaust note. You'll understand what i'm talking about once you hear it.

Thanks!

Heading over now to pick it up -- unfortunately it's raining. **** shame.

Have to wait for tomorrow for hard cornering and hair-tousling . . .

When you get your car are you planning on attending Bear Mtn car show at all? I'm up in Orange County so maybe I will see you there. Good luck

Ok Mike, you've had enough time to play with your new toy. It's time to share with your friends.

Kinda water-logged from messing with the car in the rain . . . slosh, slosh

Drove home, trying not to open it up in a thunderstorm. The exhaust sounds so sweet . . . I'm a bit mesmerized. I was riding through town in 2nd for a good half-minute, I was so turned around.

(Let's just say it's a bit different than the Focus.)

I can't believe this thing is actually in my driveway. Mine. You know, me. Here's to dreams coming to pass, however small.

Pics to come, pending sunshine.
