My Wish List/Suggestions for '13/'14...
Interior...
Get rid of the cheap plastic steering wheel on base cars...Seeing as Sync is coming to all models next year...http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-13746_7...-lowers-price/
Add Recaros as options to base GT w/cloth and Premium leather w/cashmere/blue seating stripes...see half **** illustration.
Optional 3 gauge center stack for base GT
Exterior...more colors (from other Ford Lines)
Wheels...save on costs (add $ to 2015) by using less wheel designs and more finishings (polishing/painting)
*Get rid of 1 V6 17" wheel
*18" Standard GT (polished 14 spoke) 19" Optional 5 spoke (painted dark argent instead of Luster Nickel)
*Use the 18" polished 14 spoke for the MCA edition but paint it sterling grey
*Optional 19" Brembo PKG wheel painted Luster Nickel for GT
(widen rear wheel to 9.5")
or *Use Boss 302 wheel painted Luster Nickel (already 9.5" for rear)
*Optional 19" LS Boss 302 wheel painted Argent grey GT
-V6 Perf PKG and Cali Special stay the same
-GT500 stay the same but use 19x10 rears instead of 20x9.5...

I like your take on the seats, but I'd be fine without any embroidered logo on them.
I also think the 2010 TP/19" Luster Nickel wheels should be the std. wheel for the GT Premium. HIDs should also be standard.
-Brembo Package available on GT Autos
-V6 Perf. Package available on V6 Autos
Better integration of Ford Racing accessories through the dealer network. You hinted at this, but I really think this is a good move if Ford can start to merge the two. Spin it off of Ford Accessories, and get more publicity to them.
Rear valence more styled like this:

TN, any chance you could photoshop the F150 productivity gauge in between the speedo and tach on the 10+ cluster?

All I'm going to say, is the only thing missing currently....a telescoping steering wheel!
Every other model Ford makes has one, why not the Mustang. I find the S197's to be slightly uncomfortable, because if you sit as far back as you can (as I do), then you have to fully reach out to get to the wheel.

+100 but has to blip on downshift and respond QUICKLY, unlike SHO and Focus versions.
Why is Mustang losing sales while Camaro is picking up? Poor color selection? Most of all the stupid 4x4 stance? I looked at a Camaro and a CTS-V and the tire:fender gap on both is half of that on the Mustang. WHY? Is it because of the lack of IRS. IDK, but to me it's the biggest shortcoming of the car. Just my 2 cents.

I'm pretty happy with the wheel choices for 2012, although if they were all a bit wider I wouldn't mind.
As for the Recaro seats, I think most buyers who really want to pay for them would buy a Boss or a GT500, but making them an option on the GT would be nice.
Making HIDs and 1" larger wheels standard on the premium trims would be a nice gesture and would help ameliorate the massive $4,000 (!) price increase for the premium trim. Throwing in colored exterior mirror covers and fog lights for V6 premiums would be nice too. Still, I'm sure a lot of buyers don't necessarily want the HIDs and larger wheels, so I'd just like Ford to lower the price of the premium package to a more reasonable $2,000 like Dodge does.
Besides the obvious cylinder #8 and manual transmission issues, I echo the sentiment that the Performance Package and Brembo package should be available for the automatic transmissions. Also, how about putting on Brembo rear brakes like the Challenger and Camaro have, instead of the same brakes that are on the V6.

I think there are some good suggestions in this thread... as an '11 owner who'se not considering anything until possibly '15, I HOPE that anything they improve can be retrofitted to the older cars.
The Boss style seats would be high on my list.
I think they need more dark grey wheel options. The MCA cars with the grey wheels are seriously drool inducing.
