My Mustang after 10 months of ownership
Let’s start with the basics – she’s drop-dead gorgeous! The body lines, the stance, the color combination (I believe I made a great choice there). Great work, Ford!

She’s VERY comfortable and, for a convertible, surprisingly quiet at highway speeds. Having come from a Honda S2000, I really appreciate the interior space and the trunk space.
I owned a ’98 Jaguar XK8 convertible and there are some real similarities between the two. Both are best described as Grand Touring convertibles rather than as sports cars, and they both do an excellent job at that. Their size is similar and they are both, at least theoretically, four-seaters. The Mustang’s rear seat is actually usable where the Jaguar’s was not. Overall, I am much happier with the Mustang.

She’s been on two week-long road trips down into California (including time on Hwy 1) and just recently returned from a three week trip to the Dallas area for Christmas with family. We had ample space for all our stuff and she proved to be a great road car. We were in no hurry on our trip to Texas so were in cruise control most of the way driving within plus or minus 2-3 MPH of the speed limit, with the exception of one brief sprint not quite fast enough to hit the limiter. She averaged 30.33 MPG for the entire trip, and we had a couple of tanks that went over 34 MPG. It’s a hoot when you refuel and the miles to empty reads over 500.
She’s my first Mustang and, in fact, my first domestic car in over 40 years. I’m delighted with her and have no regrets about not waiting for the 2015. I guess since she now has almost 17K miles on the clock I should drive the Accord more often, but I’d rather hop in the Mustang. Now I just need some decent weather so I can put the top down again.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. The only things I've done to it are a stubby antenna, and the headlight switch that gives me fully automated headlights. The only other change I've considered is hydraulic hood struts.

Happy to hear she is everything you hoped for Tom. Like you the Wifey really enjoys hers (I do too BTW). When I showed her the '15 she just shook her head and said there's no way she will give her '13 up.
Oh yeah, while your talking about things for your baby. Check out the front splash guards on the American Muscle website. They are a bit pricey, but I put a set on the Wifey's, and they keep all the crap off the bottom of the doors. Well worth the money, and it took all of 5 minutes to install them. And they look good to boot. If you like them contact Dan Bailer on the forum. He's the AM rep, and will give you a coupon code for 6% off the price.

The pace is bound to slow a bit now with no long trips planned. However, I will be attending the annual gathering of Honda S2000s (even though I sold mine I am still a member of the club and our chapter is hosting this year's event) in my Mustang and will be leading some of the drives. The S2000 drivers are just going to have to get used to looking at her gorgeous rear end.

No, it's been gone for a number of years now. We have a 2 1/2 car garage and were parking the Jag, a Morgan, and our Honda Accord sedan in it. It was a pain and we were only driving about 12K miles on all three. The Jag drew the short straw. The Morgan was sold, as was the '93 Accord. For a few years there were an '06 Accord (still here) and an '07 Honda S2000. The S2000 was sold when we got the Mustang.

She's a beauty. She reminds me of Stella. My first Mustang. A 2007 v6 redfire vert. I traded her in because of blind spots and I wanted more power. But mostly because of the blind spots. If she had the blind spot mirror and rear view camera I have now, I may have kept her. The Mustang is very comfortable. I could drive it all day.

Those blind spot mirrors are great. I wish we had them on our Accord. I would like to have had a rear view camera, but I didn't want a spoiler. I opted instead for the reverse sensors and they work very well.

Nice writeup, Tukatz! Good looking machine too.
I seriously envy that you can just drive down to Coastal Highway 1. I have had the pleasure of that road only a couple times in my life...in cheesy rental cars.
