I know I've seen it, but can't remember where. I've searched, and have come up with nothing.

I'm looking for a breakdown, a nice little "factoid" for a particular car. Starting from general production numbers and ending with "(your car is) 1 of 20 produced with ..."

Did (does) Ford provide the production breakdown of the car?

Mine is 1 of 1. There is no other Bullitt 08 0901... built on 0109 08.

 

One of the 2010 owners (dmhines) contacted Ford CS and they provided him with a breakdown of how many Sunset Gold cars they built for 2010. I would guess anyone could contact them and ask how many Mustangs were built, sold, and a color breakdown. I don't see that being sensitive information at all.

Aren't they also providing GT/CS Certificates? They can prob provide all kinds of data these days.

 

Not sure. I'm definitely interested in the color breakdown for 2011s. If they could go further and break it down by model, that'd be even cooler.

I spoke with CRC and was informed they would only provide the info for that particular VIN, and not a "breakdown."

Funny thing, I called for my Dad's 2011 Taurus, and since I wasn't the owner of the "VIN" she wouldn't answer anymore of my questions. Not a big deal, but not sure what I was asking that was a privacy issue.

 

I got the numbers for my 03 STX from a friend that works at Ford as a Brake Engineer, It was 1 of 144 in its configuration (Extended cab, Flareside with the 5.4), but he could not find a color breakdown for the STX truck because all of the F150's from 3 plants were combined in the color breakdown.
So I would imagine you could get color numbers, but probably not the breakdown for model.

 

I want to get a little plaque made for mine that says,

"1 of a Bunch"

Just to see who notices.

 

I'll have to start sniffing around the Chicago plant!
