Are you replacing the upper large fogs with smaller C/S ones for that new lower facia?

Also, are you planning on the GT/CS or the Boss splitter?

Good call on the GT/CS fascia. It completes the look I think. Can't wait to see it on the car.

Gabe,

No, I am replacing the stock gt fogs with the halo ones. The ones will be custom made from new oem ford fogs but with smoked lenses, retrofitted with LED cob's (brighter than LED smd's and full ring even when viewed up close). I will be reusing my 6000k vled LEDs in the housing.

For now, plan is to leave the GTCS fascia lower fogs empty. Actually, I plan to do my own "mesh". Screen mesh painted matte black then attached on the back side to "close up" the holes but still allow air in. I know they sell the caps to plug the holes up, but I wanted to do my own.

Update:

I went ahead and loaded the necessary software on my laptop to get ready for my custom tune install from jdm engineering later this week.

SCT X3/SF3 LW Updater
And
SCT LiveLink Gen II

(I had to manually load the SCT driver though, on win 7. You can see the livelink icon on the right side.)

Bring on the tune, baby.

Yeah, SCT's software doesn't play very nice with Windows 7 or 8.
I have 8, had to call SCT, their guy remotely took over my PC and fixed the issue.

Sounds like a prime opportunity for additional brake cooling...I mean, you've got the bumper off anyways...

Yeah, after manually loading the driver, it works fine now. So she's all ready to go. Knock on wood.

Nah, I'll never track her. I might do fog lights at some point. But with my new halos coming, 6 total lights might be overkill. Lol.

I'm making my own cover... in fact, I worked on it last night. Pics below.

hey man... how you been? No pics yet, since she's not installed yet. We'll be out of town till Sunday, so I might do it Sunday. Or, I might wait till my halos come in later next week so I can do it all in one shot: valence and new fogs.

Update:

Worked last night to develop my own fog light/brake duct cover. I might tie it all together with a black mesh still... I'm debating.

So after I got home, I had another package waiting for me I was pleased to see that it was shiny stainless steel.

This will go very nicely with my silver strut brace and my silver oil separator.. I'm so glad I stayed with the silver for a little bit of "bling". Haha

Oh, and the second is proof that it's really 3.6 as opposed to the stock 3.9 Magnuson.

All I need now is the intake and the tune and I'm all set.

Update:

Got notified from jdm today that my intake shipped yesterday! Should be coming to me Monday! Timing is good since I'm off Monday and Tuesday for install time

Also, jdm wants me to verify my strategy code for them before they send me my new tune. I'll do that when I get back in town Saturday.
