I guess it will be two months before she gets out of the garage. Twenty inches of snow so far.

Look at the bright side....your color looks really good surrounded by all that snow.

Back it out into the snow and take a picture, it will make a good desktop wallpaper pic.

I bought a set of winter tires and drive. Not good in my opinion to have a car sit up so long.

Well, I just drove mine home during the snow storm today.

I refuse to drive mine in the salty haze. They dump so much salt on the roads here that they are always white in the winter. Even when there isn't much snow.

Yea, they pour salt on the highways here like crazy. You better turn your eyes away, my poor baby today, and I just cleaned it before I went to work.

:fear:Oh your poor car! Outch.

Well, if you have to drive it in the winter, just keep her waxed. She's made to take it. It still hurts a little to see though. :poke:

I rinsed the car down when I got home. My previous cars I have driven through many winters with snow and salt and had no major rust or corrosion, I believe this Mustang can handle it just fine. I usually prep it and wax it right before winter starts and I usually give it a full detail right when spring hits.

You wax the bottom as well? Or spray? [QUOTE=kanine;6963470]

Man! How you been? Yeah, I feel your pain. I was thinking about starting a thread like this just for me to vent about how Marilyn stays hibernated. But alas, you beat me to it :)

But yes, my situation is similar. Stored in early November... going on 3 mo's soon. Probably not coming out till April, if lucky. Hopefully March if roads clear. I'm not even starting her up this winter either. Just stored with Stabil and a full tank of gas. Rotate wheels 1x a month, then that's it.

Not necessarily... just have to make sure proper steps were taken prior to storage. Vehicle will be just fine.

Yep! There's parts that can be waxed on the bottom eh....

I just spray rust prevention spray on the bottom.

lakersfreak 1/25/16 02:02 PM

SOLUTION.....Move to Los Angeles :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::headspin: :headspin::headspin:

[QUOTE=JonsMustang;6963493]You wax the bottom as well? Or spray?

No, I don't wax or spray the bottom. I just spray down what I can with water when I get home. My 11 year old Nissan I had before the Stang went through many salty winters and the worst that happened was the flanges on the exhaust pipe rusted and snapped. I believe this Stang can hold up just fine.

Besides, it is the only car I have. It was fun driving through the travel ban during the blizzard in NYC, there were only a few cars on the road, mostly pick ups and suvs, I was the only one driving a lowered Stang through a couple of inches of snow, no problem.

I drive mine all year round. I see no reason not to enjoy it all I can.

I loooove that color man. Even in overcast winter lighting, it looks great. Such a hard decision between Race Red and Ruby Red

ClayP 1/28/16 11:12 PM

I legitimately feel sorry for people that live up north or the midwest - the snow is the arch nemesis of vehicles! Especially aesthetically pleasing performance vehicles, like ours!
