Going to agree with zto5, I think it would look a bit too busy with that stripe. It would look OK, but I think it looks cleaner now, with just the main black stripe and the black wheels.

I think the black stripe over the top (isn't that a SS stripe?) is good. Any more stripes and it will begin to look like the green is in prison.

 

hmm find it disappointing that the stripe dosnt go all the way back like on the 10-12,
should at least go all the way down to the plastic surround of the licence plate.

either way, car looks great. I will always envy the color, but still love the sterling gray a little bit more.

 

i wonder what blacked out lower rocker side panels would look like? (might break up all that side green)

could maybe try using Plasti Dip (as others say peels off if don't like)?

im not a big fan of what they have done to the 2013 mustang...but yours in green with black stripes might just win me over...looks great.

 

Like everyone else has said, it's such a hot car! I wouldn't add any stripes to the side, or change a thing. Looks perfect. The color combo, with the black wheels and stripe are awesome.

Hey bud, that car is AWESOME!! I love it so much, I added the stripe kit to our inbound GHIG GT coupe. I already had the wheels on it, but I plan on going into CONCEPTS, and altering the order to add the stripes and also the pedistal spoiler. Awesome car dude!! Have fun with it!!!

 

I like the pedestal spoiler option. What does the other strip kit look like for these? Cant find a picture of option 943 hood and side stripes? Or is that the CS?

 

This color would look great with the gt/cs package. This car in the thread though looks great and black wheels would set it off perfectly.

 

Thats a good question. Ford doesn't have a picture of it and doesn't show it anywhere. Plus its listed as a "late availibility". Guess we have to wait and see.

 

Maybe Boss stripe package without the BOSS?? That will look great too.

 

I'd love it if they do that, but I'd kill them as I'm going to order that as soon as the part # is available and wish it were available, although they'd just not allow it with 401A anyways. I'll just order it and remove the "BOSS" and I guess cut out around 5.0 emblem, ugh.

Hey bud, don't cut around the 5.0 emblem. Just remove it. Its only held on with 2-sided tape. It comes off rather easily if you heat it up with a heating gun or hair dryer in the sun. Take it off, put the stripes on, cut a little notch in the stripe where it covers up the guide holes and put it back on and your set!

 

Congrats on the car. Looking good. I think my brother and I were there when you got your 1st look at it after it arrived on the 15th. I went back this week on Tuesday and put my order in: Black GT/CS. Definitely gonna be a long wait.
