My g/f scraped the air dam on her GT

She scraped it on a parking spot bumper, you cant see it unless you are looking right at it. Can I get some automotive grade sandpaper and sand it down?

Show us a picture. It all depends on how deep the scratches are.
If only the clear was scratched, yes it can be buffed out.

you're going to have to post a pic so we can see. if it's the lower valance, you should be able to get a used one cheap considering everybody and their mother are replacing their valances with the GT/CS ones.

That's pretty much a disposable part. Clean up the lower edge with sandpaper, Shoot some Vinyl trim cleaner on it and see how it looks. It's gonna happen again...I wouldn't obsess about it.

Im not obsessing about it......she was bummed out when it happened. I dont know how many times I scraped the dam when I had my '03 GT.
