My first mod is... new mats!?!
When I got home with my new car, I noticed there was no rear floor mats.
Figured the dealer forgot to include them, so I called my sales rep.
She didn't know where they were; said she'll talk to her manager.
<RANT>
She called back later and told me they didn't come with them.
WTF, $50K CDN MSRP car and it doesn't come with rear floor mats??? Are you kidding me???![Banghead](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/banghead.gif)
</RANT>
Went online and saw different models available and different styles. Read through many threads here (thanks to those who posted them) and narrowed it down to the Lloyd Velourtex Mats.
LOVE the look of the ones with the 5.0 logo on them so wanted to go with those.
A previous thread showed some online stores that had them in stock in black, but the color was a bit off compared to our factory. So I decided to bite the bullet and buy some customized ones in ebony from AutoAnything.
Picked them up on the weekend. Here's how they look.
This is with my TOP DOWN so lots of natural light coming in.

You can tell they look very close to stock. With the top UP and closed, they look like stock.
Here's a pic with the camera flash to highlight the slight color difference.

Are they worth it? IMHO, they are TOTALLY worth it.
The OEM mats in there were crap. Very thin and cheap.
At least the driver side one is mounted... the passenger one is not, and the cheap factory mats didn't stay put very well on the passenger side.
Conversely the Lloyd ones are very solid.
The quality of the fibres are rich and luxurious. Best mats I've even seen.
Hell, better than the carpet in my house.
Perfect fit, front and rears.
The little "flap" on the left side by the clutch feels a bit off, I might have to get a dead pedal to pin it down, or maybe put some tape underneath it.
Or maybe I just need for it to settle flat first (mats were shipped rolled).
Price was $99.99 but there was a 10% off promo + free shipping.
I also figured "hell let do it" and got the trunk mat also![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Trunk mat I was less pleased with. Same price as the 2 front/2 rear mats.
Too expensive, but I did it anyways.
And if I didn't get the 5.0 logo I coulda saved some money, but I did it anyway... cause I looove my 5.0.....
![](http://i775.photobucket.com/albums/yy31/SD6Mustang/Lloyd%20Mats/IMG_3376.jpg)
Same beautiful quality and great fit all around... EXCEPT for 2 places.
There are little "bumps" at the rear of the trunk, one each on the left and right sides.
The cheap 1mm thin factory mat curved over those bumps, because it's the same thickness as a piece of paper.
The Lloyd mat, being thicker and better quality, doesn't fit around the bumps as nicely. You can see in the picture below.
Hopefully after some time has passed it'll mold a bit better to the bumps.

Overall very pleased with my purchase.
Hope this post (and pictures) helps out people who are looking for replacement floor mats (or trunk mats).
PS. A close up of the 5.0 stitching:

Very cool. I was thinking, I have an '05 GT now with the red interior and I see if you get the red in the 10+ they're black so I was thinking about getting custom red ones with a logo, not sure though because I see how much dirt the red mats show.

Same here. I bought the velourtex for my GT500 - ordered with the embossed Cobra logo. The black is off, but the addition of the dead pedal protection and the rear mats makes it more than worth it.

I looked at those for winter use, but reminded me too much of my uncle's truck ![Big Grin](https://themustangsource.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
But I bet they'd be fantastic in places that get a lot of snow!
(But like Seattle, we mainly get rain during the winter).
I was going to go with the blacks, since most of the sites have them stocked, but somebody posted some pics (can't remember who you were sorry) and they were a bit too dark for me; I wanted to get as close to stock color as possible.
Shipped them to Blaine WA and picked them up there. 30 minute drive from Vancouver. WAAAAAY easier to ship within the US and drive across to pick them up.
Shipping on most items to Canada is ridiculous.
There's no duty if made in the USA, just pay the HST.

Fellow Vancouverite! May I ask which dealer in Vancouver you bought your Mustang from? Did you order? What was the wait time? Seriously? These Mustangs don't come with rear carpet mats??? Can anyone else from canada confirm this too?

Have the same mats... at least for the front. I am extremely pleased and couldn't be happier with the quality and the looks! Gotta love the "5.0" embroidery!
Where did you get the 5.0 trunk mat??? I was looking, but couldn't find it anywhere...

I picked it up from Dams Ford Lincoln in Surrey. I would have gotten a better deal at Coastal, but Dams had pretty much the exact model I wanted in stock so I didn't have to wait for a factory order.
And yup they don't come with rear mats. LAME...

Here's the exact part # that came up in the cart after I made my selections for the trunk mat.
*Edit* my application was for a convertible without Shaker 1000, so part # would be different for a coupe or with Shaker 1000 due to trunk differences.
Lloyd Velourtex Floor Mats
Part # VT19|3295780|47667||962|||V829075||||
Vehicle 2011 - 5.0 (Silver W/ Red Dot) - Applique
Logo 2011 - 5.0 (Silver W/ Red Dot) - Applique
AutoAnything
SKU 3619795
And this is the part # that came up for the 4 mats (2 front w/ 5.0 log + 2 plain rear).
This one doesn't matter if a coupe or 'vert.

They don't have a logo, just regular mats, so I didn't take a picture. PERFECT fit - definitely precision engineering! Any dirt or spills will only be on the mat, carpet underneath is safe.

I got samples of black , smoke and ebony sent from Lloyds. The ebony was very close to the carpet. Not perfect but you will probably be the only one who notices a difference.

So I ended up buying a set of these for my stang thanks to your post and I have to say, they are a significant improvement over the stock mats. I got everything exactly like you ordered it, 5.0 emblems in Ebony. It's a pretty good match to the interior color. I also picked them up from autoanything.com but my mats didn't come rolled up like you mentioned. Mine came in a big flat box and each mat was completely flattened and stacked on one another. Thanks again for your post.
