Man, I would run him in what has in my 2013 Roush Stage 3. Not sure a stock C6 Vette is much faster than a '13 Roush, if at all.

LS2 or LS3? Stock LS3 C6s trap 115-118. Stock GTs trap like 113. I've seen a couple in negative DA run 12s with a .0 bone stock on stiff sidewall runflats.

 

its an ls3 2009 auto with z51 and paddle shifters very very close in performance but I think the vette handles way better

 

Anyone that would say a 540hp mustang is way underpowered is just a d-bag. I would delete him, to ensure never hearing from him again.....

But the Ford-made GT500 puts out more than 100hp more than the Roush Stage 3. Granted, it's a bigger motor, but isn't it closer to the size of the motor in the C6? (I don't know anything about the C6 other than it's a Corvette).

 

Maybe the guy really just drove jsimmons car or that other guy with the "Boss LT" sticker, thinking it was something it was not?

The LS3 is 6.2L but pushrod, so it's physically smaller than a 5.0. The two engines weigh about the same and make comparable power. The 2013 GT500 is a similar block with a taller deck and a heavy blower. The LS9 out of a ZR1 is a more comparable motor.

LS9 weight - 530lbs/638hp
GT500 Trinity weight - 623lbs/662hp
