Ive heard that many times. Bummer. Where would you go to get it? What about the warranty? Here in Michigan, if you buy a car from canada, you have no coverage here in the states. I would assume its the same there.
My ideal 2010:
GT Premium Coupe: $30,995
64V - 19" Premium Painted Luster Nickel Wheels: $695 (I don't need no steenking options!)
$31,690. Beautiful. That's all I need to keep me fat & giggly.

A family member just bought a Fusion and had no problems.
I would assume ordering would be a huge pain. Especially since DRLs are mandatory here in Canada(Ontario)
I have no clue about the dealers, Varsity Ford?
Not true, you can buy a new Ford in the USA and you would still have a full warranty.
