My car @ the 2011 Tire Rack SCCA SOLO Atlanta National Tour
Here are some pics from my car in action this past weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The event was the Tire Rack SCCA SOLO Atlanta National Tour. I ended up placing 3rd in my class. If I had been on R-comps, I could have possibly taken the win. It's hard to beat a car on 315/30 Hoosiers when I was running 255/40 Pirellis. It is my plan to run the National Tour event in Nashville this October on some 295/30 or 315/30 Hoosiers and see if I can take that one down with a victory. Enjoy the pics!

Dude that is awesome (as Hurley would say)!
In the 2nd photo from the bottom in the 1st set (DSC06378) I can see a couple hundred dollars worth of rubber flying into the air.
Thanks for sharing.

They are a ton of fun out there once you've got a few suspension goodies on them.
The splitter does appear to have done some funky things in the picture. Standing in front of the car the splitter appears to be straight, but it is definitely pointing downward in those pictures. I don't know if it is air on the front of the nose at speed driving it downward or what the problem is. I'm going to put the car on a lift this weekend and will try to figure out what is going on with it as well as my swaybar endlink on the passenger side creaking now. I may have bent it or it may have just come loose.

Well you'll use less tire when they aren't being beaten up so badly.
As for autox adventures, I have a few of my own and with a setup a lot closer to what Jason is running (and in for the same class too). Haven't had much to report with the major car issues, but it's now progressing albeit slowly. Testing this weekend and if all goes well it'll have 4 National events on it in the next 4 weeks, and hopefully 4 wins.

How am I beating them up? Did you see something in my driving that is causing undue wear? How did the car look on the course? I still think I have too much front body roll. How do we fix that? Oh yeah, I need new swaybar endlinks. Passenger side is bent. Do you have some good ones for me?
I have links. http://www.stranoparts.com/partdetai...200&ModelID=35 You won't bend these.

Remember the "I don't know why I'm not hitting the brakes" thing?

Love seeing these cars on the course. I still haven't been to an autoX event but I'd love to. I've been to a couple different driving schools with skidpads and emergency maneuvers, but not an official SCCA event.
Have you guys who track/autoX your DDs, have you noticed any additional squeaks/rattles from flinging your cars around?
