My brother-in-law bought a used 2011 GT500
My brother-in-law bought a used GT500 last week. Black on black exterior with black interior. It's wicked looking! I love the black stripes on the black paint. Very subtle, almost like ghost flames. He had it dynoed at Fun Ford Weekend in Houston and it made 523HP / 511TQ at the rear wheels. I'm trying to get him to join TMS and stop hanging around with his Vette buddies.

Those numbers are way too high for a stock GT500. If it's still running the stock pulley that dyno is way off. The car should be running in the 480-490 range to the wheel at most. 523/511 is pulley swap territory.

A lot of shops inflate dyno numbers. Considering I had the same car and wasn't coming close to 523 bone stock on a properly configured Dynojet. Nor was anyone I knew from the GT500 forums I frequent. As for tuning with just the stock pulley the factory tune is already pretty aggressive. There isn't a whole lot of room for improvement unless you want to take it to the edge.
