I would ALWAYS miss 3rd and hit 5th by mistake. Once I installed the bracket, never again.

Also, if you're still on the stock shocks/struts/springs, lowering the car and installing better shocks/struts can help reduce wheel hop.
he does not have the mt82 in the car.

beers

from what I've read, there's a certain art to nailing 3rd gear in the 6060 as well. I'm not sure of the specifics but I think it boils down to being firm and deliberate but not abusive hard shifting. my buddy has a 2010 GT500 and he tried explaining it to me.

.
I've missed 3rd several times just driving hard and thought it was me. Is this bracket something I can install easily or does it need to be on a lift?

I used a jack/jack stands. It's pretty simple. The JHR bracket is a simpler and easier to install part but both it and the steeda and barton brackets all do the same thing and are what I would consider a "must have" part for the MT82.

Cool thanks! Can I get away with just the bracket, or should I do the shifter at the same time? I like the Steeda, but that new Hurst sounds killer too. I heard the Barton is too noisy for a DD.

I'm using the stock shifter and it's fine. I'm sure an aftermarket shifter would be better but I wanted to try this first since it was much less expensive.

They have a TSB on it. They'd say exactly that ... And they'd charge me for the diagnostics.
