My 13' t-boned yesterday

Got t-boned (well, more "L" boned) by a young Amish kid today as he ran a red light. To add insult to injury, my rental car is the same car he was driving, a 2013-14 Chevy mailbu

Amish? Did he hit you with his horse and buggy?
JK
As long as everyone is OK, car looks fixable. I always wondered how the lower control arm would fair in a crash. It looks flimsy, and the K member it is mounted to does not look too stout either.

Wow that sucks, but looks repairable. Glad you're okay and hope its a speedy recovery for the car.

I am sorry to hear that man. Reminds me of when my 04' Mach1 was rear ended. I'll never forget that feeling in my stomach.

Lol and apparently they go on vacation as well. I almost cried laughing when like 50 of them (all dressed similar) got off the "Tower of Terror" ride at at Universal studios.

I wasn't sure at first, he had one of those straw hats, greyish pants and suspendors over a solid colored dress shirt. He called his father with a cell phone (another head scratcher, maybe Mendonite?!?), who walked over from Walgreens. His dad was full blown obvious (beard-only, hat, attire) and he was talking to his son in Dutch as the police questioned us. Anyhow, got the ball rolling and the car will be towed to the dealership today, still stiff and sore today, more worried about the upcoming battle I'll undoubtedly be having with the dealerships repairs as they took 4 times to get my minimal rear bumper repair done correctly. I don't know of any other reputable body shops North of Indy...

I know.... I watched this episode of family guy once... The Amish robbed Peter of the satisfaction of doing his own chores.

Sorry to hear that! Doesn't look as bad as I thought it would judging from the thread title. Hope you're ok and can get your car back quick.

Sorry to see this OP

Make sure you get yourself checked out by a doctor too. It might not be bad now, but it could get worse down the road
