Good luck, and stay safe.
I disagree with this advice. Adding more weight MIGHT help you get moving but it will adversely affect handling and it will be more inertia that has to be fought in order to stop and turn. You'll find conflicting opinions about adding weight to the trunk... in my experience, good tires and a light foot are a much better choice.

Personally, I'd avoid driving a Mustang in the snow unless you have to. Big power, long polar moment of inertia, heavy curb weight....all make for a less than desirable snow car....especially when "wrong wheel drive" (aka FWD) is VASTLY better in the snow and a beater is cheap insurance to protect your muscle car.

Just my opinion!!

Ya wuss lol...jk. My 03 is a bit scary in the rain. On the freeway it's fine, but at lower speeds, especially taking turns, it lights up the rear tires at will. Just the slightest touch of the throttle and wheelspin! The 3.73s and TC tuned off don't help

Y'know my only real problem with rain came with drag radials (duh!) otherwise it was a non-issue.

Yeah it's not too bad. Just have to be more careful on turns. Luckily I learned RWD control years ago in my first V6. Spun that car a couple times in the rain.

I have winter tires on my car and drive it through winter. I have not had any issues. You should be fine as long as you drive according to conditions.
