On average how many Mustangs are built per day?

Let me rephrase that; how many 2010 Mustangs were built in a day?

shows 10,225 for may (31 days) so maybe about 330???

 

Note the figures in the link are sales not production. For 2010 there were 10,225 sold but for 2009 only 8812 were sold in May. Also, there may only be 20-22 working days in May.

 

Actually the average is 639 cars produced per day in May. This counts Mon-Thurs and excludes one holiday, a total of 16 working days. Mark Price indicated in another forum that about 600 cars per day were produced and this would certainly track with his statement.

 

In terms of 5.0L Coyote engine production out of Essex.. the target is 65 per day. They're not at that consistently yet though. Still in ramp up phase. Over half way through 45 day ramp.
