Mustang pricing

Hi everyone, I am considering a Mustang (drive an 07 Vette now) and have been trying to get some ballpark pricing on a GT Premium. I priced one on-line and it came in at 40K, how much should I expect to pay if a dealer is treating me right?

Thanks!

40k is about ... 36k invoice or so. In and around there.
There's also an X-plan and a few rebates that come and go.

So I'd say 35-37ish out the door price.

Check the Price Guide sticky at the top of this forum. It has all the pricing info you need. You should be able to work a deal to your liking.

Edmund's TMV (true market value) is easy to use and very accurate (and free), be sure to check them out. They will tell you what others in your area are paying for the car with the options you choose. Start below that value and go up (if you have to) to the TMV...but don't go over. Most car dealers know about the TMV service and will eventually sell at or below the TMV price.

You should be able to get dealer invoice. Would need the option list to get more exact estimates, but you should be able to knock off 2-3k at least from MSRP at that price.

There was a GT/CS on Ebay with Glass Roof and Elec. Package and auto, and it was going for a bit over $38k.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for the nice words, I really apprecaite it.

Howieb, drop me a PM or you can call me at my number in my sig. Let me know the options you want and I can price it out for you. If you work for a large company, you may be entitled to X-Plan. If you don't you can join the Mustang Club of America, and this gets you X-Plan pricing as well, for only a $50 membership fee and you get a subscription to the magazine and stuff. If you have any questions, let me know. I'm always up to chat.
