Just watched the commercial though a decent pair of headphones and noticed that the car sounds more along the lines of the SN95 GTs. 10-16 seconds in. I wish this is what the car really sounded like.

Pretty much just venting.

Might want to check the disclaimer which appears at the bottom of the screen at the 0:07 second mark - "Computer-generated Mustang in a simulated close environment." It's an e-Mustang.

 

No I saw it but it just seems wierd that Ford would do a cg sound and then the real car sounds nothing like it, thats all.

 

Ford doesn't do it, the advertising agency does.

 

And who gets 'blamed for the deception? Ford, of course. And they should get blamed for it, because it's probably the job of a lot of Ford people to bless that ad campaign.

 

The ad agency probably figured nobody would be watching the commercial while listening thru a set of headphones, LOL!

 

That video has been out for a while now. Even before i ordered my car . But it's always nice to see it again.

 

I remember back when, I think it was a Hyundai Tiburon came out..the background noise to the commercial was the clip from the very beginning of The Fast and the Furious, with the green turbo eclipse "topping out". It was hilarious to hear N/A Tiburon blowing off when shifting in the commercial, lol.
