Live in LA gotta say I think it's universal. They Pass people doing 90, don't use turn signals, cut you off. I'm convinced they are the worst drivers on the road. A large majority of them at least.

Hey I drove my Honda Insight like a badass! With the econ mode on, the limiter is at 2000 rpm so the car cannot go faster than 67... I tried... I stick to the middle lane or the left lane since I don't like the right lane.

But now my BMW does fine in the left lane. I go 5 under the limit and then when I have an ******* riding my bumper I let go off the gas and anytime he tries to pass me, I gun it! I made this Toyota Corolla ricer so mad he swerved 4 lanes over to pass me.

With stock gears on my V6, BAMA race/hybrid tunes and CAI I never averaged better than 18.2 mpg overall(90% city). At 55-60 on the highway I would get 31 or so. Now with 3.73's I get 17.2 combined. I don't try overly aggressive, don't floor it on green. Compared to most people on these forums though it is pretty sad. Any thoughts why it is so low?

You're 90% city driving.....

Next time your on the highway, reset the MPG, and drive for about 30 minutes (highway). It will show you.

If I drive from the highway into downtown stop and go, it quickly drops from the 27.4 to around 22.2 or so. It doesn't take long for the stop, go, stop, go to eat away at the mileage per gallon readings.

The left lane is the passing lane, not the fast lane. That might explain why people get pissed at you, especially if youre parked in the lane and not even doing the speed limit. I hate when people have no consideration for other drivers. If someone wants to drive faster than me, cool, Ill be right behind em.

I understand this, it was about 25 miles to the place I got the gears swapped and on the way there I set cruise control to 57 or so and averaged 31.2 mpg there. After the swap I reset the trip and averaged 29.0 on the way home. My problem is that the city is so low, below what most get in the city.

Come to Macedonia. They cut you off, pull out in front of you, speed up when you try to pass, stop in the middle of the road, and just because they have a right turn signal on doesn't mean they will turn right. Be prepared for a possible left turn.

Went to San Antonio from Houston and back with the CC set on 80 and averaged 23.9. My truck would have gotten about 12!

Todays average miles per gallon.

Today was the first day I drove a couple of hundred miles on the interstate since my new 93 tune and CAI installed. Driving from 75 to 90 mph according to the computer I averaged 23 to 23.6 miles per gallon, not sure if thats great for the mods I have listed below or expected ?
Oh I did get on it a few times on the interstate but had to stop unless I wanted to here the girlfriend yelling at me threw the whole trip.
