Mod suggestion for 1-2 shifts

Some days, my shifts are smooth and effortless.

Other days, the shifts feel like clink, clank, clunk.

I'm not talking about clutch engagement. The feeling is through my hand on the shifter and sometimes a sound - all while the clutch is to the floor. Its most noticeable and often on the 1-2 shift, but also happens on other shifts with decreasing frequency/intensity as the gears get higher.

I think a driver mod may be the solution. Any tips on smoother shifting? I use the "open palm" method of shifting, with minimal force on the shift ****, clutch pedal all the way to the floor. Is there a trick with rpms, throttle, shift speed etc. that I should be using?

You're not alone and the solution is a new, higher quality bracket, or a whole new shifter (MGW) brand. Very common complaint and mod to do.
