The Missing Link?

The Missing Link?
I believe I found the missing link as to why the 2010 Mustangs Rear End looks the way it does, among other things. I believe it is the Introduction of Fords Kinetic Design Language, incorporated with Traditional Mustang Design. I stumbled across these Design Sketches for the Ford Iosis Concept that were done back in 2004, about the time that the 2010 Mustang was being designed. What Do You Think?
I also noticed a few Designer Genes carried over from the Very Successful Ford Interceptor Concept. Which was Designed On a Mustang Chassis.
The Power Dome Hood
Beveled Rear Corners and Tail Lights
As Well As The Taughtly Stretched Wheel Arches
All Design Elements Incorporated Into The 2010 Mustang.

It still doesn't explain the lumpy, oversized, black plastic extension they're calling a "diffuser"

Good find. The '10 does come off as a somewhat ham-handed pastiche of various FoMoCo styling idioms that together, come off as a bit incongruous and clumsy, certainly lacking the design clarity of the '05.
Many of the elements, the hood bulge for example, look fine on their original platform (Intercepter Concept), but kind of gratuitous and too large. The rear end seems like the bastard child of the Iosis Concept and the Mustang Giugiaro Concept after a bit too much thalilomide.
None of it is horrible, not even the black diaper, that appears in need of a changing, drooping from the back end, but the overall effect seems to say design by committee rather than reflecting a clearer and more cohesive vision of a single designer.

Ford needs to read this but,I don't think they could handle the truth.

The '05 was bashed for being too "plain", which just made it a great starting point for customization and personalization. The '10 looks like it's already been over-customized.

The Kinetic Mustang
Thanks AGBULLIT, I Like That! I Would Be Proud to be the One That Makes the 2010 Known as The Kinetic Mustang. Even it's New Logo follows that Kinetic Theme, with it's Skin Taughtly Streched Over It's Muscle And Bone. That's what I see in the 2010.
And as usual, Thanks for the positive comments, zzcoop, MBK, stangrider98, SuperSugeKnight, and classix_stang289
