It means the only way to get your 'stang is to dress up like a trucker in bib overalls, fill your belly full of chicken fried steak, get on the CB and call out to Steve Zahn... "candy caine... candy caine... come on back candy caine..."

Mine said convoy. I don't know how it got to Greensburg IN. My Mustang was loaded onto a truck there for the 484.20 mile trip to my dealer. My dealer gave me a copy of the paperwork they got from the trucking co.

I believe Convoy means it leaves the plant on a truck. It does not mean it goes to the dealer on that truck. My 2010 has convoy on the WS. It left FR by truck, Autoport Ltd, a subsidiary of Canadian National Railway, transported it to Forteria, OH. There the car was off loaded from the over the road car carrier and on to a Norfolk Southern rail car carrier to Petersburg, VA. Once in the Petersburg lot code 2L, it was off loaded from the NS railcar and then loaded onto a over the road car carrier, operated by Translogic, for transport to the local dealer.
If you look a picture of the FR plant you can see both rail and truck car carriers staged in the storage lots.
Also on the WS is the shipping ramp codes. For my car the code is CJ2L. The 2L is for the receiving lot Petersburg = 2L. I have not figured out what the CJ is for. The dealers in my area all have the 2L as the third and fourth digits. The first digits seem to change based on the vehicle type, assembly plant and ship to location.

Mine said Convoy and I am in FL, obviously it didn't go all the way by truck. It left the factory on a truck, loaded on to a rail car and began it's journey, a week later it arrived at the distribution lot where it was put back on a truck and to the dealer.
