Is it me?

I like the 2013 front clip, because I LOVE the GT500 fascia. But I don't need or want chrome or polished stainless steal inside my headlight assembly. And finally.. maybe I just need to see the car in person... But the new taillights didn't improve on what I think was an odd design at best that’s only now starting to grow on me

Well don't look @ me - I got to drive my 2011 GT 'vert 8600 miles over 11 months & that cost me over $7000 when I decided I needed to order a 2012 GT coupe. So even if the 2013 looks like a friggin McLaren F1 I won't likely be jettisoning my '12 any time soon.

And for the record, I think the '10 - '12 rear, with it's sequential tails looks just fine, especially when equipped w/my next
mod, a GT500 rear spoiler.

Yes, & I forgot to say that the 2010-2012 rear looks fine, especially with the GT500 rear spoiler AND ESPECIALLY with the powerful 4" diameter bass organ pipes of the GT500 axle-backs peeking out from under the "diaper"! LOL

Same. With so much hype surrounding the car, I was really expecting some big changes.

I suppose, considering that the Camaro V6 and SS are already outclassed by the existing Mustang's, the only one they really needed to focus on upgrading was the GT500 - hence the major changes.

I'm not bowled over by the styling changes but I'll withhold final judgement until I've seen a few in person. There have been cars that I initially thought were merely OK in styling and later decided they were really beautiful. When I first saw photos of the 2010 Mustang's taillight design end I didn't care for it. But after driving a couple miles behind one on the highway I really grew to admire them. The wheels that I chose for my Mustang didn't really impress me at first but by the time I was ready to order, they had become my favorite. I love the 2010-12 taillights now and think the 2013 units look a little Dodge-like, but after seeing them in person I may decide they're terrific.

The one thing I won't change my mind on is the hood. I consider the 2010-12 hood to be the best looking hood the Mustang is ever had. It's a crying shame that they changed it, in my opinion. I'll be interested in seeing the new wheels designs.

I couldn't agree with the "Dodge-like" comment more. The first thing I thought when I saw that was Charger. :-P

That being said, I'm also reserving judgement until I see it in person. I am just disappointed that the LCD screen between the gauges didn't become MyFord Touch. Maybe they are just waiting until 2015.

glad i got my 2011 GT, i personally think the front end looks like alittle much, especially with the fog lights. also think the 2010-12 rear is perfect.

Totally agree. With the snout off a late model Dodge Charger and taillights almost straight off a 1970 Mercury Montego (look it up) - I am very lukewarm on this facelift.

And darn - I was dreaming about a 2013 Boss 302 with it's '70 look graphics (a '70 Boss 302 is my dream car).

The spoiler is the same one that has been around since 2010 when you get the back-up camera.

Several things I don't like from the pics, will have to see it in person. Seeing that front end made me decide I will wait until '15MY to buy again, maybe Roush can salvage it lol.
