with all the rebates they are offering on the 2011, they should have sold a boat load more....

Talking

I also purchased my 2011 GT Coupe Sterling Gray in March . Two friends also pulled the trigger in March. One friend bought a 2011 Yellow Blaze GT and another ordered a Kona Blue 2012 GT Coupe.

These cars are selling in what seems like very good numbers, even the Challenger.

These are the good old days for us, folks. 30 years from now, those of us who are still alive will be telling stories to the younger generation who may never even drive a vehicle powered by an IC engine.

Ford sold 218,525 '00 Mustangs - hasn't come close to that number since. Looks like we built about 70K '11 Mutangs. I suspect '12 Mustang production could drop even more, unless the 31 mpg / 305 hp V6's start selling soon.

As predicted, healthier numbers this month. One of those was my coworker's 2011 Mustang GT. He was impressed enough by mine that he finally went and got his own. He's even normally a Camaro fan.

I intended to take advantage of the rebates but they couldn't locate the car I wanted so I ended up ordering a 2012 in march. Wonder if that counts against those numbers or of it's added when I take delivery.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't count until you actually take delivery.

This is true. Friends who were never really interested in mustangs saw mine and they are looking to trade in their old rides.

Hoping to add +2 to those figures in May, I think April is dreaming! Could be June - July at this rate though . . .
