This is making the wait a whole lot better....

In order to help make the wait less painfull the dealer gave me this as a loaner to use until mine arrives... a new 2010 GT vert. Nice car, drives great. I am treating it as if it were mine with a gentle break-in. Really glad I'll have the extra hp of the 5.0- this one feels a bit flat, but still.....

I think it is part of the Ford accessory pkg.

I guess I'm gonna have to print this thread and march on down to my dealer and see what's up!

That's awful cool of them to loan you a brand new '10 vert!

Agree! My car has no scoops/ stripes. etc.

I do own an 09 Edge outright, and am trading toward the Mustang- so I left it with them when I picked up the Mustang. Maybe that made him feel better about the loaner. He also said that he's going to take a bath on the 2010 anyway.

Absolutely can't beat on it- wouldn't be fair to them.

Lovin’ the white ‘vert! Is your 2011 going to be a vert?

My dealer once loaned me a new 2010 coupe (pewter w/brick red 401A interior), but that was only overnight and only b/c they had to order a part and make me come back. It was fun (and a bit depressing) feeling how much tighter the coupe was than my ‘vert. It was eye-opening how quick that automatic shifted (I have the 6MT). As well the E.P. was fun to toy with.

Not a fan of non-functional scoops.

Yeah, I drove my friend's completely stock auto/vert '10 GT a couple weeks ago. Felt quite lacking compared to mine.

You guys are really complaining about a scoop that was on a loaner Mustang. Wow, just wow. Not to mention that the scoop has been around since the 2010's were on sale.

That's killer that the dealer loaned you this while you wait. I have never seen any dealer loan cars like this.

Kudos to you. I am glad you feel that way, it WILL be someones car and even though that person will get a killer deal, they dont deserve a car thats been ragged on. Nor does a dealer cool enough to loan out a car like that.

You should however give that dealer a plug on this forum........Unless they said not to say anything.

Based on your mod list, I'm not sure how a bone stock car feels "quite lacking". You have the same year car etc. What am I missing? I guess the tune??

BTW, the fact that ANY dealer gave you that car as a loaner is amazing. Perhaps hes going take a write off on it and prepping himself to purchase it maybe for himself or something.
