Lumbar or not.

Anybody knows if the GT with confort group gets the lumbar and 6 way power adjustable seats for both the driver and passenger! Thanks

Are they 6 way now? My pile of crap is only 4 way. Manual seatback is so ghetto.

EDIT: NM, "6 way" to Ford is 4 way to me.

My 2010 comfort package only has power lumbar in driver side. No lumbar at all on passenger side.

Hey Dan, thanls for the input. Wonder if it's the same with the 2011's. I can't find anything about lumbar on the option list. What they call lumbar, if it the inflatable lumbar area, or power seatback ?

I don't think it's inflating anything but same concept. The recline function is still a manual lever.

I knew the recline fonction was still manual, was just wondering if the power lumbar was the power adjustment you get when trying to find the best incline position. So what is exactly the lumbar adjustment?

that is too bad . . . it always seems that one notch is too high, and the next one is too low

hey, even the base Camaro has the infinite power adjust on the recline, what's up with that ?!

According to Edmunds, on the GT Premium option 53B 6 way power passenger seat is available (naturally the driver's seat is 6 way too). Eh, power lumbar is not specifically addressed - sorry.

My 07 had Comfort Group. Driver / Passenger were 6 way power with manual seat incline/recline, and ONLY driver had the power inflatable lumbar support.

My 92' 5.0 had freaking power lumbar in both seats for f's sake.

I know my '91 5.0 had it to, but manual reclining. So, if i get this right, it is 6 way both driver and passenger with confort group, and lumbar driver only. Manual reclining no matter what option. Maybe Brian or Jeff can chime in on this one.

no lumbar? on pass seat.. nothing like sleeping with lumbar..

slept in the car a few times.. met some friends up in New Hampshire for bike week..
they brought my bike..
but the idiots forgot my tent and air matress..

now here is the kicker to that story.. the tent and air matress?!, i left sitting in the boxes, ON my bike in my garage.. they had to move the boxes, off the bike, to move it onto the trailor..

with a HUGE note taped on the box saying "TAKE TENT AND MATRESS TO LOUDEN"

No power lumbar on the passenger seat with the '10 V6 comfort package, at least on mine.

I can understand the manual tilt back on a coupe because of access, but the Taurus SEL only has 6-way also. Maybe the Limited and SHO go 8-way...

montreal ponies, For the 1969 model year Ford teamed with Standard Oil to give away (luck of the draw) two new '69 Mach I Mustangs for each of the 50 United States. The family of college buddy of mine won one (351 could be and was upgraded to a 428), and he got it as his own. I wound up buying a '69 Mach I of my own and drove it till it fell apart.

Right. If you don't get the premium package there is no power in either seat. Premium gets power and lumbar for the driver's seat. Comfort adds power (back and forth, up and down for the front and for the rear of the seat bottom) to the passenger seat, heated seats for driver and front passenger, but no lumbar for the passenger. Seatback angle is always manual.

Only the driver's seat will have lumbar support, even with the Comfort Package.
