Low Tire Pressure lights on dash....

Hey all,

So was driving on the weekend during the day. Parked outdoors. All good. Temperatures dropped to 14c / 57.2f ....drove it at night and got a Low Tire Pressure warning. Drove roughly 20km.....still on. Checked tires, no leaks...Checked today, all tires still has air, and same amount it looks like. What gives!??!

By checked, do you mean a visual inspection or you actually used a tire pressure gauge to verify air pressure? Lower air temps will lower pressure, and you may now be below the TPS threshold for turning on the light.

Visual inspection. No tire gauge.

Light goes on when pressure gets fairly low, something like 24 psi . . . so don't wait too long or drive too far with it like that.

Or like the windshield sprayer won't work because the fluid is empty.

Please invest in a $5 digital tire pressure gauge. I keep one in all my cars glove boxes.

Just remember to regularly change your muffler bearings out too. Make sure you use gloves or some other gripping tool, as you don't want to contaminate the bearing with skin oils. It's similar to how you can ruin a halogen bulb by touching it with your bare hands.

I always paint the halogen bulbs with exterior house paint so I can touch them without wasting a pair of those fancy plastic gloves.

Alright. So my Stang came with the tiremobility kit. Used just the air compressor with tire gauge, right back at 35psi on all sides.

Thanks ya'll....

ps. I'll top off my headlight fluids this weekend.

Make sure you use the HID Fluid, the Halogen will not work with the 2013 HID's

Unless it changed from 2011, correct pressure is 32 psi...
