Looking for those with Magnaflow Comp. catback on 2011 GT
I had mine installed yesterday. The drone is horrendus and not something I think I can tolerate. Question: for those that went this route, would replacing the stock H-pipe with a catted X-pipe help reduce the drone? Looking for thoughts based on first hand expereince. I received helpful feedback yesterday from one individual who said that with his 2010 GT adding the x-pipe made a more tolerable difference by lessening drone and smooting things out. Hoping to get more opinions/thoughts from those with this setup. Thank you.

Really the only time I notice the drone is when accelerating very slowly or when cruising at 70 MPH on the highway. I usually just try to either keep it closer to 80 or drop it into hill assist to keep the rpm's up. But guess it just hasn't bothered me that much.

This system is going to drone. The way the mufflers are, or lack there of, will cause it. As I've said before, the best way to get rid of it is to change it over to the street series mufflers. It wont be quite as loud but it will reduce significantly, if not almost eliminate, the drone. I talked to magnaflow about this a while back and they said that was my only option if I didn't want to deal with the drone.
