I guess I'm old fashioned, but I don't understand 20" wheels on a car unless you need them to clear a huge set of brakes. The style is good, but I would have went with 18" and an over-sized tire.

That's the reason I went with 20" wheels over 18" and unlike most who run a 35 series tire or lower I ran a 45 series which is stock on 300s&chargers and really helps to fill up the wheel well, I could not have done that on an 18 without losing performance due to to much sidewall which would effect cornering/handling to get the same look, as for the exhaust tips I like em and they fill up the rear diffuser nicely*I just gotta go back and have the muffler shop heat em up and bend them some to center them better*

Actually not bad on my way to work this morning I was running over every bump I could think of testing it for harshness&noises so far its def firmer than stock but not jarring or harsh. Handling def feels way tighter and more in control when cornering fast its like the rear end really digs in now. On a side note this tank of gas I only got 24.5mpg I guess winding it out and doing 90mph hurts mpg eh

Keep in mind, he's running 20" wheels and a "full" sidewall, so it's going to raise the car a bit. The ground clearance is probably still not bad.
I'll say that car sits really nice. I definitely like your wheel combo. What did they set you back, if you don't mind me asking?

The wheels we're only $675 shipped w/center caps&hub centric spacers*I got a deal because I knew they would look awesome on the new body style with that low offset and the seller agreed since it was a trial fitment to cut me a deal providing I take pictures of them installed, which I was happy to do.
Purchasing the tires/mounting/balance/install labor/dismounting the old wheels/tires/tpms rebuild kits/road hazard/tire replacement certificates&tuner lugnuts is what hurt. Due to some judiscious use of coupons*I love coupons
* some barganing&internet price matching along with a $50 mail in rebate from hankook I walked away for $698 from discount tire with the hankooks on and everything squared away. I just sold my stock tires though for $400 so that helped offset the cost some. But still all told a 20" wheel&tire package installed out the door for less than $1400 isn't bad I like that I was able to keep the money local for the tire purchase as well helping the local economy/whatnot

Good for you and applying your logic do you have the extra $4000+cash just lying around to hand over? Because that is what it would have taken along with the money i've allready spent on mods just to make up the difference for a base gt. Don't forget extra insurance*yes I did check its was $18 more a month* plus the difference in running premium versus regular. If not keep your should have bought a gt comments to yourself good sir
edit after rebates the selling price of my car was $20,498 fwiw

I was originally looking at getting a V6 with nothing down, but I made enough bonuses at work and sold my truck for more than I expected, so GT for me.
Either way, enjoy your car. You have quite a piece of work there.
How big are the spacers? 1"?

^nice man congrats on the gt order*don't forget to send out for one of those ford brochures to get the $750 off coupon* and thanks for the props, fyi the wheels run no spacers just a very low offset of 20mm that's why they are pushed out so far stock for s197's is around 45mm. They would look even better if I had gone with my original tire size of 255/40/20 which I will change to when these wear out.
