LOL, someone is hot sh!t.
This takes place somewhere in Texas.
LOL Guys, I guess my car is a comedian. It sure makes people laugh,
I was driving to my Uncle's house 2 miles from my place and come up to the light at the Intersection of Bitters and Jones Maltsburger (Next to the McDonalds/Shell and across from the Tiger Mart) and I look to my right and see this BEAUTIFUL 2010+ Mustang pull up next to me. We are completely alone at the light, and I look at the car and don't recognize it. I guess my mind just went blank when I saw it, so I look down at the car from my leaning over my passenger side window and see that it is a 2012 Boss 302. White with black stripes, just beautiful.
I look in the window, prepared to give the driver a huge thumbs up and I see this Arabian looking 20 something year old with his ugly girlfriend pointing and my car and then start laughing. I realized it was cus my car isn't a "real boss". I was like okay cool, I wanted to roll down my window to still say "Nice ride" but the dude didn't seem to take time from laughing. So, the light is about to turn green and I rev to about 2.5K rpm just to get ready for a dash to 40 MPH, the light turns and I take off and the Arabian dude in the 302 just takes off like a 80 year old grandma. LOL, This guy is driving a race car (pretty much) and he can't even play around with a V6, wtf. Laugh all you want guy but really, you are too afraid to race to the speed limit. hahaha
I wish he would have raced, I mean it's not like he would have lost. He's driving a race car for heaven's sake!
Once we got on the highway he wouldn't even come up next to me, just stuck in the back. I even slowed down for him...he is just a pansy I guess.
It made my day, I know he laughed at me, but in the end I'd still rather be driving my car and not his.
I don't know why I posted this, but I just felt like it.
I know some of you will laugh at me, but hey it's my car and I love it. Even if it is a fake boss.
By now you have to know that you will get little sympathy on this board. You also have to know that others will view your modifications in a similar fashion. Further I absolutely understand why the guy didn't bother to race you. It would be a little like you racing a guy on a vespa. The results aren't in question so why bother.
You have a nice looking car, but your choices of modifications are definitely the kind that ask for scrutiny. As per If you have comments on my stripes...... when you come on a public board you will receive public opinions. Hopefully they will be constructive and not insulting, but expecting delicacy on public forums isn't realistic.

I just posted this cus I thought it was funny, I didn't ask for anyones sympathy about my car. I just lol'd so I felt like sharing it.
I aint jealous, it was a nice car...but not my favorite I've seen.
I was hoping he would race me, because what kid wouldn't want to toy around with a *real* Boss 302? I wanted to see what it was like going up against one...a real one. I knew I'd lose, but that doesn't matter to me. I've "raced" a C6 Corvette Grand Sport..and lost. It is just the fun of going up against something 'exotic' that I like. The same reason you guys race Ferrari's when you see them. You just want something to make you smile. It doesn't have to be a serious race, just purely fun. Remember that when you try to race a Camaro ZL1 or 2013 GT500. Yep, don't think I don't see yall's posts about racing. You guys sometimes know you aren't gonna win, but you still do it....why?
Even if a guy was in a Vespa, if he wanted to race - I'd race him. It's just too much fun.

He could have raced me, or at least took time from laughing to at least shoot me the bird or something. I wanted to have a lil fun.
I guess I will think twice before telling anyone their car is nice. What a shame.

I'm relatively new here, but if you're advertising your car to be something it isn't, you can expect people to laugh. Not trying to be rude, that's just the way it is. There is always a car out there that's faster than what you're driving. Be proud of what you have. Or, make some more money and upgrade.
I'm not sure what sort of reaction you're expecting from your story. Poseur cars of any kind suck and so does street racing (especially when the other car is way out of your league). Sorry man but I would have kept that story to myself.
If you're looking to race, this might help you: http://www.staginglight.com/links/trackfinder.html#TX
X2, "racing to 40" is still racing and illegal. Not suprised he would not risk criminal charges to race a car with over 100 less horsepower? Dont worry what other people think of your car, if you enjoy it who cares!
Ok since you're having a hard time getting there I guess I erred in thinking that tact and delicacy were appropriate. What you did to your car, (though well executed) was dorky as hell. I mean wtf were you thinking??? When you have a v6 and you paint it to make it appear that it's a boss you come across as a tool.
Further wanting to race the guy in the 440hp rocket with your nice entry level car, further embellishes that impression. Your assertion that you would race a guy on a vespa again adds fuel to the fire. I get that you're a younger mustang owner, but younger does not necessitate rampant immaturity.
I get that YOU WANTED to race him. Why should that be any concern of his? Why does it make him a ***** if he doesn't do what you want him to do?
To further illustrate this point. I have a buddy named Chuck Liddell. I promoted many of Chuck's kickboxing matches when he was younger and before he became the face of the UFC. From time to time someone, AN IDIOT, wants to fight Chuck. Chuck chooses not to, because WHY BOTHER, it's beneath him. Is he a ***** for making the intelligent choice. They are idiots and he simply walks away because that's what you do with idiots.
This link is harmon vs liddell fight #1. From 15 min 48 seconds to 16 min 50 sec that's me in the middle of the ring with the mic revving up the crowd.

I just wanted to have fun, I understand my car is a V6 that is not a real boss. I have said that over and over again.
I just wanted to have fun and see how bad I would get walked on. Don't you guys remember when yall were kids? wth.

I tried to tell him he had a nice car, he just kept laughin. That is where it kinda disappointed me. Still, it made me laugh to, seeing his reaction to my car. I know, i know, I know that it is not a Boss. I get it.
I posted it on here because I don't care if I got laughed at, I felt like sharing it. I don't need a exact reason to post it, I just thought it would be funny if I did. I am not ashamed, not at all.
Jeez guys.

So, with your rationality because I am a senior in high school I can just act like an *** and talk crap to every freshman and underclassmen simply because "I'm above them"? Hmm, I'll try that sometime.
Thanks.

Once again, I might just have to stop complementing people on their cars. Cus my car is a fake boss and I don't have any right to say "Hey, nice car".
Sweet.
ACE - I like your car. I don't mind the tribute, although many people do. To heck w/ them, IMO. I've complimented your mods several times. Where you screwed up is trying to street race, then coming onto an internet forum w/ adults and trying to get support for it. It's stupid. Dumb.
Yes, I remember being in high school. 18 yrs ago yesterday I lost a friend who was street racing. That's one of a few friends of mine who have died in car accidents, some weren't their fault, but were the fault of someone else thinking that they're a badass in their car, risking other people's lives. So, don't expect support for being an idiot just because you're young. Take it to a track and you can race whoever you want, it's a lot more fun. Find some Honda Civic's to beat up on at the track, just don't risk wiping out a Honda Odyssey w/ kids in car seats in the back because you're trying to have a weiner measuring contest with some other guy on the public roads.
So in your first post with the "Watch out, we've got a badass over here" graphic, the ironic thing is that it's you who looks like you're trying to be a badass, not the other guy.

Doesn't matter if he's in high school or not; it's never to early to learn some humility and that substance will always trump style.
By the way, ace, you're free to post anything here that you want to, but you ought to be prepared for others to post their responses, whether you like them or not.
